The first of my monthly illustration series.

The garden on a sunny October afternoon - probably a Sunday. This image is mainly about the stunning colours we love at this time of year; the bright red berries of a Rowan Tree, stark white birches against a looming black rain cloud, golden foliage singing against a brilliant blue sky.

I also wanted to introduce a subtle human element and I think this will run throughout all the forthcoming illustrations. Here Dad is being 'helped' with the annual leaf burning.

A signed open edition giclee print.
