A hot, still afternoon and as the gardener goes inside for a siesta, Peacock butterflies flutter over fragrant Buddliea.

Sunflowers tower over the hedges and beyond this stretches freshly harvested wheat fields. High above, jet trails gradually disperse into a cloudless blue sky.

This is the penultimate 'illustration-per-month', just September to go then whole year has been completed.
